Join us for an afternoon workshop experimenting with natural dyes. Participants will learn how to turn vegetable scraps from the kitchen into natural color! We will go through the steps of preparing fabrics for dyeing and make a handful of different plant dyes from veggies. Students will leave with an understanding of how to extract color from plants, dyed fabric swatches and a dyed bandana. No previous experience necessary, all supplies and materials are included.
